Last week on my day off we decided to go to the Portland Children’s Museum. We’d heard it was a fun place for kids and Victoria probably needed an afternoon of running around so off went.
We visited the museum on a Tuesday so it wasn’t very crowded. There were lots of different rooms for Victoria to explore. She spent time shopping in a supermarket, playing with dogs in a vet room, cleaning up rubber rocks in a construction area, and many other themed areas. Her favorite was the temporary “Wizard of Oz” exhibit. She hasn’t seen the movie yet, but I think she’ll recognize the characters from our visit to the museum.
The Children’s Museum shares the same parking lot as the zoo so we’ll make a point to come back soon and see the animals.
