Rotchana had been asking for a while to go out to the Wenatchee area to look for mushrooms, but life, work and other things were always getting in the way preventing us from going out there. We finally had a weekend free this past week that allowed us to head out for a quick trip.
The weather was really nice, but it had been pretty dry leading up to the weekend so the mushroom sightings were few and far between. We still had a nice time driving around the area and took some time to hang out at Lake Wenatchee for a few hours to enjoy the scenery.
After spending time at the lake we took our time driving back along the highway that runs beside the Wenatchee River. We stopped for some photos and eventually made it to our hotel in Wenatchee where we stayed the night before driving back home the next day.
