We made one more trip to Tamarack to play the Osprey Meadows Golf Course before the golf season comes to an end for the year. When I first played the course about a month ago I thought it would be nice to come back during autumn to see the colors of the trees mixed in with the evergreens and green fairways. We made a tee time to return late in September, but one of the many wildfires that Idaho has had this summer threatened the resort and our tee time was canceled.
A couple of weeks later we made it back to the resort for another round. The last time we came up we had to jump straight to the first tee due to traffic getting up the mountain, but this time we had time to hit some balls and take our time before playing.
The fall colors were in full force giving the course a new look. I enjoyed the course both times, but I do think it was nice having the fall colors on display. We had a good time playing again and hope to be able to come back up again next season.
